Romania will be present with a national Pavilion from May 15-17, 2023 at one of the world’s leading trade fairs for wines and spirits and the most intelligent event of its kind, namely the London Wine Fair.
They will showcase eleven of Romania’s top wineries and also for the first time a producer of various distillates, such as Vodka, in the Romania Pavilion (Stand L40)

Today, OIV, the International Organisation of Vine and Wine, places Romania among the top 6 wine countries in the EU, in as far as the area under vine, grape and wine production are concerned.
Most Romanian wines belong to the DOC and IGP quality family and they have become increasingly known on the international wine market and are highly appreciated by consumers, mainly the native varieties: Fetească Neagră, Fetească Regală, Fetească Albă, Tamâioasă Românească, Băbească Neagră, Busuioacă and Zghihară, or the international ones: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Marselan, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Muscat Ottonel.
On this occasion, at London Wine Fair 2023, the visitors will have the chance to meet the winemakers and producers of companies located in the best wine regions of the country.
Thus, 3 wineries are coming from the famous Dealu Mare wine region, "the land of red wines" as it is called (i.e CH. Pietrosaratii, Crama Ceptura, Domeniile Sahateni).

Add to these, the other 8 wineries coming from such fabulous wine regions as Transylvania (Jidvei), Oltenia (Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea and Viti-Pomicola Samburesti), Moldova (Agroverse, Vinicola Averesti 2020), Dobrogea (Domeniul Vladoi, Rasova Wine) and the Danube Terraces (Domeniile Dropia), a proof that the wines on show and offer are covering almost the entire country and not to forget the distillates produced by Alexandrion Saber Distilleries 1789.

On May 16, 2023, between 2-4 p.m, at the Romania Pavilion (Stand L40), Caroline Gilby, MW, will present the top Romanian wines on show.
